Our land on the Awhitu Peninsula,
now an abundant, diverse oasis, was a conventional
dry-stock grazing unit. We are two women in our
60s who left leadership positions in urban settings
in 1992 to shape a healthy lifestyle together
on this small coastal farm, an hour's drive south-west
of Auckland.
